Green Juice – Without a Juicer!

Keeping up with health "trends" can be challenging when you don't have the money for the "tools".  But that doesn't have to be case for green juice!  If you've got a blender and a decent pasta strainer this awesome elixir is only a few minutes away!

  1. 2 apples chopped
  2. 2 cucumbers chopped
  3. 3" peeled fresh ginger chopped
  4. 2 lemons
  5. 3 cups filtered water
  6. 1 small head of kale (ribs removed)
  1. Combine first five ingredients in blender and pulse until combined.
  2. Slowly add kale one handful at a time until thoroughly blended.
  3. Pour mixture over pasta strainer (cheese cloths work too) to remove solids.
  4. Chill and enjoy! Juice will keep 2-3 days if refrigerated.
  1. Don't have a pasta strainer? A cheese cloth works too!
