If there's one thing I've had to master living in the mountains its how to survive a snow day.
Fraser, Colorado - January 2014
Snow days may seem like a lot of fun for school age kids (and for many of their parents that are used to going to work super early). For them, it's a way for them to have a day to relax, to rejuvenate, etc. However for the "stay at home" mom, snow days can be one of our biggest challenges. When Ella was a baby I struggled with ways to get her and I out of the house when the weather is nice! So on a day like today when we have over a foot of snow coming down the idea of being confined to a single spot for 24 or 48 hours is terrifying.
Below are a list of ways I've found to not only pass the time but to have a lot of fun.
